Collector Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the free collector account and messaging space offered on CollectorIQ.
1. Purpose
CollectorIQ allows registered collectors to create a profile, define collecting interests, and receive or reply to messages from authorized art-market professionals.
2. Registration and account security
- You must provide accurate, up-to-date information and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity carried out using your account until you notify us of unauthorized use.
3. Your profile and visibility settings
You decide which profile elements can be shown to professionals through the settings available in your collector space. CollectorIQ may keep technical or evidentiary data needed to operate and secure the service even if some fields are hidden from other users.
4. Acceptable use
- You must not impersonate another person, send unlawful or abusive messages, share malicious content, or misuse the platform.
- You may block or report professionals through the tools provided when available.
5. No transaction guarantee
CollectorIQ facilitates introductions and messaging only. We do not act as broker, agent, escrow provider, or party to any sale, purchase, or advisory agreement concluded outside or through the platform.
6. Suspension, deletion, and your rights
- You can delete your collector account from the settings page when this option is available.
- CollectorIQ may suspend or delete an account in case of fraud, abusive conduct, security risk, or violation of these terms.
- Your privacy rights remain governed by the Privacy Policy and the “Your data” page.
7. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory protective rules that may apply.
